OUT NOW!
We released “La Música Cubana.”
And honestly? This one hits differently.
This song isn’t just part of our upcoming album Una Noche en La Habana. It’s a reminder of why we do what we do. It’s a celebration. It’s identity. It’s rhythm running through our veins. When we step on stage anywhere in the world — Europe, the Middle East, Australia — people don’t just hear Cuban music. They feel it. And this song captures that feeling.
Why This Song Matters?
“La Música Cubana” was originally written by Demetrio Muñiz, Chucho Valdés, and Ibrahim Ferrer — giants of our musical history. So when we approached this new version, we knew one thing:
We had to respect it.
But we also had to make it ours — today.
So we went back to the essence:
Real instruments.
Real percussion.
Real musicians playing together in the room.
No shortcuts.
You can hear the air between the instruments.
You can feel the groove breathing.
That’s intentional.
In the Studio: Pure Energy
When we recorded it, the energy was high from the first take. Son Cubano has this magic — once the clave locks in, everything moves. There’s a moment in the track where everything feels like it lifts. That wasn’t planned. That’s just what happens when musicians who grew up inside this music play together.
It’s not nostalgia for us.
It’s home.
From Havana to the World
We’ve carried this music across continents for years now. Every audience reacts differently — but when that rhythm starts, something universal happens.
“La Música Cubana” is our way of saying:
This music is alive.
It’s evolving.
And it’s still powerful.
What Comes Next
This single is the first taste of Una Noche en La Habana. The album goes deeper — more stories, more texture, more moments that feel like a night in Havana where time disappears. But for now, we’re celebrating this release.
